Our journey with We Out Here Inc. began in the fall of 2022, a moment etched in my heart forever. It was a simple act of compassion during my daily routine—taking my youngest daughter to school—that ignited a profound calling. Seeing a young woman in need asking for change, I felt compelled to ask how I could help beyond money. Her answer was stark and raw: "Food, all I want is food." In that moment, I realized God had placed a calling on my heart to serve others, particularly the hungry and homeless in Miami Dade County, and beyond.

From that encounter, We Out Here Inc. was born—a testament to faith and compassion driving us to make a tangible difference. Our mission is clear: to establish a central hub where we can offer more than just meals. We envision providing essential supplies, shelter, mental health support, substance abuse counseling, job readiness training, and a pathway for healthy reintegration into society. It's a vision rooted in the belief that every person deserves dignity, nourishment, and a chance at a better life.

The stark reality of global hunger affects nearly 10% of our population, indiscriminately impacting lives across borders and boundaries. At We Out Here Inc., we stand firm in our belief that no one should go to bed hungry. Our commitment is unwavering amidst this ongoing crisis, starting right here in Miami-Dade County, where we've already served thousands of hot-cooked meals and provided clothing to countless individuals and families in need. But beyond physical sustenance, we offer spiritual nourishment, sharing the message of God's love and reminding each person that they are not forgotten.

As we continue this journey of service, guided by the grace and mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, we hold onto the promise of Isaiah 44:21: "I, the Lord, made you, and I will not forget you." It's a promise we share with every soul we encounter, affirming that they are seen, loved, and supported on their journey toward hope and healing.
